Hardy and easy to grow, the chopped stems and pink flowers add a fresh, mild green onion flavour to sandwiches, salads, and baked potatoes. Use dried flower stems in arrangements. Chives are an excellent choice for the container herb garden, but make sure to divide them regularly so they can expand in a lateral direction.
