Carrot Fertilizer

This1-9-3 granular formula fertilizer is designed specifically for carrots. New from Welcome Harvest Farm on Texada Island, comes tOften times, regular balanced fertilizers produce odd results for carrots, as too much nitrogen can produce ample tops, but no roots. Most fertilizers don’t contain sufficient phosphorus for good carrot growth. But this blend of kelp meal, rock phosphate and greensand is perfectly formulated to give carrot plants what they want to produce nice uniform roots. Just make sure the soil is loose and free from rocks, and keep it adequately irrigated for really strong carrots. Apply 1kg per 2 square meters in fall, winter, or spring before you seed your carrot beds. This package is 14cm wide, 10cm tall, and 20cm long.
