Wildflowers
Bloom time: Spring to frost.
Wildflowers are herbaceous flowering plants that can reproduce and become established without cultivation. They can be native or indigenous species but can also be non-local cultivars. Our wildflower blends are colourful and beautiful as well as beneficial for your garden. Wildflower blends are used by landscapers and garden designers, and to fill in large spaces with low-maintenance plants that will bloom over a long period and return in the years to come. Planting wildflowers has the added benefit of providing much needed forage space for pollinators. The bees will thank you by nesting nearby and helping pollination occur smoothly in your own garden.
Planting rate: 113g to 225g per 1,000 square feet. Denser plantings may limit the establishment of perennial components.
