Don't fight it, it's bigger than both of us! One giant flower 30cm (12") across perches on a plant that grows like a tree. Create a magical sunflower "house" with Giganteus walls. Sturdy stems don't require staking.

Tip:

To aid in the proper seed development in sunflowers that you are growing to eat, or to feed the birds, dissolve 5 ml (1tsp) borax in 350ml (1.5 cups) water and spread over 5 m 9 15') of row to supply boron (the nutrient plants use to form big vigorous seeds).
