Mothers Day Annual Flowers Collection
This collection features five beautiful annual flower varieties. They are very easy to plant and care for either in the garden or in patio containers. Help Mom plant the seeds, and then enjoy a range of colour throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
Snapdragon Blend - These beautiful, traditional garden favourites have been selected for their colour richness: from the palest to the deepest pinks, coral, blood-red and yellow.. Learn more... Mini Cosmos - Lovely, delicate Cosmos in a range of pinks, attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies, and wild bees, this blend looks fantastic on its own or as a short-growing meadow flower.
Clarkia Godieta - Godetia also goes by the names Farewell-To-Spring and Clarkia. The species (formerly called Godetia botanically) has been improved to produce varieties for spring gardens as well as for cool coastal and mountain locations in the summer. It looks beautiful in a border or in containers.
Alyssum - Alyssum makes a fantastic mulch between vegetables rows because it grows so quickly it will keep weeds from taking hold. It has very short, unintrusive roots, and is easy to pull out when you no longer require its services. Meanwhile, the tiny white flowers will attract beneficial pollinators, and increase the chances of good fruit set for fussy vegetables like squash. Alyssum is one of the longest blooming garden flowers.
Chinese Forget-Me-Nots -Grow them as a source of sky-blue color in beds or borders. They're also striking in beds all by themselves or mixed with other flowers to tone down hot colors or to complement a range of pastels.
