Better Reds Plastic Mulch

This red plastic mulch reflects the red up to the fruit that are setting above it - strawberries, melons, peppers and of course, tomatoes! Tidy red plastic squares (3' x 3') are perforated to allow air and water to the roots. Use it to control weeds, retain moisture, and warm the soil. Packages contain 8 squares. This mulch is 25cm wide x 2cm tall x 25cm long.

Bio Mulch Fleece

This all natural fleece sheet allows the ground to breathe and water to seep into the soil, but prevents most weeds from emerging. Simply rake the area, removing any sharp rocks, and then lay the fleece in place beneath a 5cm layer of soil, bark mulch, or pea gravel. Even persistent weeds like morning glory and blackberries can be thwarted if a double layer of fleece is used with a slightly deeper top mulch. Great for perennial beds, paths, and around raised beds. Covers 15 square meters (160 sq ft).

Bio Plant Tunnel

This new product arrives flattened, but stretches into a cloche-like tunnel measuring
3m long x 45cm wide (10' Long x 1.5' wide). Eight galvanized steel hoops are woven into a sheet of polypropylene fleece. The fleece allows light and water to penetrate, but acts as a blanket, increasing the temperature inside, and holding it there after the sun goes down.
Easy to install and use, the Bio Plant Tunnel can bring forward harvest times by 2-3 weeks or more. Ends can be lowered for complete crop protection.

Bio Plant Tunnel Replacement Fleece

Very easy to use! If your Bio Plant Tunnel gets worn or torn, simply work the metal hoops through the pre-sewn lines in this new fleece.

Biodegradable Garden Pegs

Copnstructed from biodegradable materials, these peges will hold down tarps, mulch, or row cover and can then be tilled into the ground. 10 per bag. The bag is 18cm tall x 13 cm wide.

Cloche Garden Clips

These large clips are designed for 3/4" pipe (ZRC451). These simple gadgets make garden protection easy. Clip your floating row cover or plastic greenhouse film to cloche pipe hoops to form a simple tunnel. Garden Clips provide safe anchorage in wind, snow, hail, and heavy rain. You need approximately 1 clip for every 2' of pipe length. Complete instructions come with every package.

Cloche Greenhouse Film

This tough film shrugs off snow, wind, sun hail, and rough handling. It will last at least 4 years. The transparent material transmits 93% of received light and is ideal for winter use. Use in the summer for a cover above your tomatoes and potatoes to protect them from late blight. Strong and pliable, use with Garden Clips (ZRC416) to cover any shape of garden bed. The Greenhouse Film pieces are 1' shorter than pipes to allow a gap for summer ventillatioin and burying the pipe.

Cloche Pipe

100PSI pipe is rigid and thick-walled and supports itself. It is 3/4" in diameter and thick-walled for more rigidity. Cloche pipe comes in lengths of 7" or 11". The height of the cloche will vary with the width of the bed you are covering. Still flexible enough so you can make it wide and low or narrow and tall. The diagram shows possibilities for an eleven-foot pipe and will give you an idea of how width and height are related. You'll need a hoop every 2' or 2.5' of cloche length.

Floating Row Cover Heavyweight Season Extender

AGRYL P30 A heavier fabric, this offers frost protection down to -5 Celsius. It can be used over lettuce, spinach, strawberries, and winter squash in the fall. Placed over heat-loving vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, squash and melons, it can make a 2-3 month difference in cool summer areas. When using over tall seedlings, support the fabric on hoops so the plants do not bear weight. Heavyweight row cover makes a warm environment for the first flowers on tomatoes, giving an earlier fruit set, but will not protect them from blight. It can also be used over potatoes and corn for the first 2-3 weeks after planting to speed sprouting. Doubling the fabric gives more frost protection but it transmits less light. We recommended for wrapping it around shrubs and trees to protect them from winter winds.

Floating Row Cover Lightweight For Insect Protection

AGRYL P17 This 1/2oz per square yard fabric is designed for insect exclusion and seedling protection. It is good for situations where you want protection without heat build-up. Flea beetles, aphids, thrips, cabbageworm butterflies, carrot rust flies, cabbage root maggot flies, and leaf miner flies will be excluded if the cover is carefully applied. It can also be applied over newly seeded beds to aid germination and decrease water evaporation from the surface of the soil. Applied over new transplants, it offers some sun and wind protection and moisture retection. 5 degrees Celsius.

Red Tomato Tray

This red plastic tray is split down the middle so you can install it around the base of an established tomato plant. The red reflects light back up to the plant, increasing productivity.
