Autumn Beauty

Tall 1.5m (5') plants are literally covered with 13cm (5") blooms. Some plants have as many as twenty blooms or more. Autumn Beauty is a very showy mixture of colours including golden yellow, bronze, brown, and burgundy. Very easy to grow! Sow directly in the garden.

Dwarf Sunspot

Single, enormous flowers up to 30cm (12") across on very short stems. Dwarf Sunspot rarely grows taller than 60cm (2') tall. Dwarf Sunspot makes a very striking container plant, but will require regular feeding. Long lasting flowers produce copious seeds for the birds.

Hardy Annual (HA)
The name refers to the seeds this giant plant produces, and they are very good for snacking. Plants average 2.7m (9’) tall, but the flowers can grow 30-38cm (12-15”) across. This is an excellent choice for edible seeds.

Jerusalem Gold Organic

This unique CERTIFIED ORGANIC hybrid sunflower is very uniform with big flat discs on strong stems for excellent cut flowers. Jerusalem Gold sunflowers also produce good sized black seeds. The plants are about 1.6 meters (5.5') tall with - usually - only one flower each.

Lemon Queen Organic

Certified organic! This tall branching plant is covered with lemon yellow sunflowers for wonderful bouquets and a fine show in the garden. Height: 210cm (82").

Mexican Torch

Not technically a sunflower, Tithonia rotundifolia - Mexican Torch flower - certainly grows like one. Large, bright orange flowers appear atop massive plants that grow to 1.8m (6’) in just a few months. Tithonia does not produce edible flowers. Hardy Annual (HA).

Mongolian Giant

This enormous variety has the largest seeds of all sunflowers - up to 4cm (1½") long. It's also one of the biggest, with plants reaching 4.3m (14') tall. This is a great variety for competitions! Make sure to stake these giants, and allow for a full 90 days of growing time.

Music Box

Vivid hues of bronze, brown, mahogany and creamy bicolours swirl around dark centers. Stunning! These uniform dwarf sunflowers branch well and are perfect in pots on the patio or balcony or use in borders! Plants produce showy 4-5" sunflowers in a beautiful range of colours.

Original Sun

The forebearer to all modern sunflower varieties, this is the original Helianthus annuus as it would have appeared prior to domestication by indigenous peoples in the Americas some 4000 years ago. Height to 3m (10'), with multiple branches of small, ray-like flowers.
 

Peredovik

Annual
This Russian cultivar produces the black seed used for making sunflower oil and is the very top choice for feeding birds. Plants average one big head with few side branches. The birds will tell you when they are ripe! Black oil sunflower seeds. Height to 1m (3').

Russian Mammoth

Plants mature a little later in summer, but grow to an impressive 3m (10') tall, with heavy heads that average 50cm (20") in diameter. Plants benefit from staking as the heads get BIG.

Solar Power

Striking bi-coloured petals are mahogany with bright yellow tips around a dark brown centre for amazing contrast on 1.7m (5.5’) tall plants. Solar Power is a very colourful variety, and looks great in grouped plantings.
