Vivid colours and parchment-like petals, poppies are easy, dependable and gorgeous. To use as a delicate, long-lasting cut flower, singe stem briefly with a flame. Remove spent blooms to prolong the flowering season.

The largest of all poppy seed pods, this goliath-sized poppy is very popular as an ornamental. A tall plant, it is easy to grow with large red flowers that have dark centres. The pods are huge, oval shaped and each produce over a thousand seeds. Hardy Annual (HA).
