Flower Seeds Phacelia
Phacelia
Phacelia also goes by the name of "Purple Tansy" which seems to suit this whimsical but useful plant that attracts bees and other beneficial insects.
Phacelia
Hardy Annual (HA)
Phacelia tanacetifolia
Pale, mauve-blue, fragrant flowers unfold like ferns at the top of long leafy stems and attracts bees for miles around. The delicate, lacy foliage bears a resemblance to yarrow. It fits in the vegetable garden as a cover crop or in a garden bed for quirky flowers. Direct sow or broadcast April to June. Phacelia grows to 23cm (9") in full sun or part shade. (open pollinated seeds)
