Planting Seeds
Sow the seeds at about the same time you put the cucumber plants out. Sow seeds in small clumps, 2cm (3/4") deep in rows 45cm (18") apart. Thin the plants to stand 10cm (4") apart. Seeds germinate in 10-14 days.
Preparing Soil
Keep the seed bed moist and well-weeded.

For leaves which have more flavour (before flowering starts) plant several times in the Summer.

Edible seeds and greens are used fresh for
dill pickles! Try them in sauces and flavouring for soups, stews and fishes. If you leave the seeds on the plant they will self-sow.
